Met my expectations
This worked perfectly as an extra sleeping space for guests. It is rather had, so I wouldn't want to sleep on it every night. It is good looking and easy to assemble. Doubt whether the legs are really stainless steel and the solder on them is questionable, but for the money it will serve my purposes and looks good.

Not as nice as pictured...
This was kinda like a McDonald's purchase. In the pic it looked fancy and tasty, but in actuality, not so much. In fact, it seems to be the exact same futon as the cheaper version of this (Mainstays Memory Foam Futon), just with shiny metal legs. You are literally spending about $190 more for the same futon with different legs.

Saw this in the store and rushed home to order it!
This futon is cool as cool as I have seen for the money. I wasn't seriously shopping for a futon but once I saw it I had to have it. Go see it in the store as the picture here is terrible The arms and back fold up in a really cool way. Also, back splits -multi-positioning at its best. Unusual and different. Going to put in spare bedroom/office as great for lounging and use for bed when needed. The fabric is velvety. It is comfortable to sit on. I did not get to lie on it yet.

OMG! So easy to put together! Slide it out of the box, comes in one piece, already assembled, except you screw the legs on. That's it! Done!This was for my daughters room. Love the look, lots of options: tilt one end up for arm rest or pillow, tilt both ends up. Fold half the back down or both halves of the back down effortlessly.It is pretty firm to sit or lay on.I would have included a pic but it wouldn't let me :-(.

Not Quite What I Expected
Just got my futon today. I really wanted the Mainstays faux leather sofa, but although it says you can pick it up at the store, once you add it to your cart, it only ships via freight for $80. So, I bought this one instead. IT IS NOT A 7" PILLOW TOP. MORE LIKE 3.5" LIKE THE FUTON THAT SELLS FOR $100 LESS. I'm not very happy about that. Also, I don't like the fact that the back folds down in two separate sections. The description does not tell you that. It sounds like it is all one piece. It is only about 68 inches long with both arms down. I just measured because I am considering buying a chaise lounge cushion or something to go on top since the pillow top is not as described. Being that you have to buy more to make it comfortable, I don't think the price is fair.Read more
