HORRIBLE!
We bought our fouton on May 13th. It's now July 13 and several of the welds have broken, the mattress has become extremely uncomfortable and flat. Screws fall out of it constantly. I find myself screwing them back in. For $100 I could of gotten a used sleeper sofa that would've been more comfortable and better quality. It's just bad.

Terrible futon
I bought this online from Walmart this past January 2016 for my son. It's a terrible futon. His back and hips hurt from sleeping in it. When it's open to sleep it has a metal bar in the middle which is uncomfortable . When it's in upright position it's not flat but in a tilted position. Either way you cannot lay flat so bad he's sleeping on the floor now. Wish I could get my money back. I do not recommend this to anyone.

4.5 out of 5
I've had this Futon about a week now, I bought it to sleep on primarily, as well as sit on in my small bedroom. I came from sleeping on a camping cot I bought from Walmart about 6-7 years ago for about $40, which I would also highly recommend. These cots, unfortunately, aren't meant for prolonged daily use and I originally bought that after a breakup to where my ex took the bed. Moving along, setup for the futon was a bit confusing on a couple parts, as there are a couple screws that are a bit different and have no real different significance as the other screws used in the same positions. It took me about 3 hours to do total, I was half watching tv while I set the frame up. The mattress is comfortable enough, and the frame is definitely sturdy. I sleep on this thing in the sofa position, and even though there is a bit of an angle to it I stay pretty comfortable enough. I'm 5'10, 165lbs. It ways about 75lbs. itself. I would most definitely recommend this to anybody for some extra cheap furniture or an extra place to sleep.

I'm real happy with it!
If the welds were better it would have got 5 stars.I have had this futon for over 15 years after a breakup I needed a couch, but later wanted more room in my bedroom so bought a hide away couch and made this my bed after 4 years. The welding was not the best, and yes some springs fell apart, but I am over 250 lbs. so I put a 2X6 on the most used edge for support, flattened a cloths washer box and put it under the mattress, that strengthened the spring area and eliminated the mattress working in-between the main lines. I bought an 8" plastic coiled memory foam bed here, and I love the whole set up. I actually like going to bed knowing I will fall to sleep the second my head hits the pillow.I did have to put more money into it, but not all at once, some of it was free, and I couldn't have bought a bed as comfortable anyway. I had paid $2500. for the one I left behind, but it was too big, and never as comfortable as this one. Plus... the legs are far enough under that I don't stub my toes on them and there is plenty of room for my shoe boxes under it.

You get what you pay for.
At $98 I wasn't expecting the best. I can sleep on just about any surface (im not picky). Now for starters I would not recommend this as a daily bed. It is uncomfortable and overtime you WILL develop back pain. Now, after about a month of use, the small metal rods that are there to support the so called mattress began to break one by one. Keep in mind I don't weigh that much (155lbs). So, now when I sleep on it there's basically a drop in support where my back is since 12 or so metal rods broke from the middle of the frame. If you want something for a guest or to add to your man cave or whatever, then you can take a chance. As a daily user, I would refrain from purchasing this and purchase either a different (most likely more expensive) futon, or buy a normal bed. Hope this helps.Read more
