Not happy
Received my product in a timely fashion but the futon when I opened it had a blue stain which turned out to be ink. Also had a small tear and the frame had a bend in it. Not happy ,with product. Don't know how you can send out product with blue ink that was rubbing off on towel !!

Great for only $250
This futon is pretty comfortable and big (relative to other ones sold here). I am 5'9" and I can lay comfortably on it without my extremities hanging off the edge. The "armrest" pillows are actually pretty squishy--I thought they would be smaller and harder. I thought that the mattress would be a bit squishier; it is more of a nice pillowtop versus the 9" mattress I thought that it was. Nonetheless it is comfortable and I have used it everyday for the week that I have had it. It comes basically fully assembled; I just had to screw on the little legs and it was all set. There is a good amount of storage space underneath--you could fit two quilts/blankets/comforters or four pillows. However, the faux wood bottom of mine was pretty significantly cracked/broken (about a quarter of the storage space) when I got it. It looks like something smacked into it right there, possibly during shipping. Otherwise, the futon is certainly worth the decent price.

Good value for the money
I was very satisfied by the sofa, However, I storage space beneath the sofa was damaged in the shipping process. The delivery service would not allow me to open the box totally before either accepting or refusing the sofa. If you see damage----refuse the shipment!!!!! What we could see was a baseball size hole in the bottom where the box was damaged. We felt we could fix it ourselves, so we opted to accept the shipment. Once we opened the sofa and set it up we found that the storage compartment bottom was broken on both sides measuring over 24 inches in length. I ended up hot gluing the bottom so it could be used instead of returning it. The bottom is made of a very thin (about 1/8 " thick) cardboard/fiberboard. We didn't feel it was worth the hassel to send it back. In my opinion, if you bought it because you really needed a storage compartment, plan on nailing some reinforcement to the bottom of this sofa. In all likelyhood it will arrive damaged.

Delivery Damage
I made the mistake of overlooking the reviews that warned against delivery damage. I figured there were way more good reviews than bad. Well my futon arrived in a box that was totally mangled. The delivery guy felt bad and told me I should inspect the futon before he left, because of how bad it looked and he didn't want to have to leave it and come back. Well the box was practically open and had tape holding together every inch. My husband and I opened what was left of the package and there was a huge rip down the mattress of the futon. Needless to say I sent it right back and declined a new delivery for fear of that happening again. It's ashame, because the quality appeared good. I feel like there is a training issue with the delivery company or warehouse workers for this to be such a common complaint. I hope they get it together, because sadly I won't be ordering furniture from them ever again.Read more
