Arrived damaged and with missing parts
I was very much looking forward to putting this sofa together, the reviews are great and it would look perfect in my room. Unfortunately the package arrived very damaged, with a white sheet to "protect" the content. I opened the box to find a sofa with one of the wooden structural pieces sticking out of the cushion part, making it unsafe to sit on and unusable.Moreover, the screws were missing.I checked the mechanisms to turn this sofa into a futon and they sound pretty clunky so this might be for the best that I am returning it. It's just so much hassle again to coordinate the pick up with work etc.. Not happy!

Palm Springs Futon
Bought this for our home office as extra sleeping for guests. On the up side, it looks great, the fabric is a nice, lightly textured linen look, the color is vibrant (we chose the mustard) and overall the design is mid century enough to blend with real mid century decor. The price was unbeatable, shipping was incredibly fast too, it was delivered even more quickly than the delivery date. Assembly of the legs was easy. The fabric was a bit wrinkly out of the box, but smoothed out after a few days.On the down side, it is definitely not the most comfortable futon to sit on. The foam they use is very firm, actually kind of hard. Because we are just using it for the office, not a big minus. But I don't think it would be good for a living room or regular use. The size of the futon when open is a bit smaller than a full mattress, so it's good for one adult guest or maybe two very little kids. We're going to throw on a light topper with a mattress pad when we make us the bed for guests. I'm sure it will work OK with that adjustment.

Excellent, elegant, sturdy and spacious sofa bed
This is an excellent sofa bed. I bought the blue one and sort of wished I got the mustard one to spice up the room. It easily sits two adults or 3 thinner ones. As for sleeping, I bought this for my little efficiency apartment for myself so it works perfectly. If you need two adults to sleep, I do not recommend this since it is only a twin size. No doubt 2 small kids will be able to sleep on it comfortably. But for a single person who sleeps alone it is absolutely perfect. It is really very sturdy. Super easy to setup but weighs a lot so you need help transporting it. I use it mainly as my bed so I rarely put it into the chair position but wanted a sofa bed for when a guest might come over so they have a place to sit. I bought a 3-inch aerus mattress and it fits nicely on top and makes sleeping amazingly comfortable.

Only had it a month and its broken
Walmart lost this package three times before it was finally delivered, I have had it a month and the middle leg support already broke.

Nice Futon
I bought this futon for my mother's tiny New York city apartment and it really works well in her living room. I'm able to incorporate a dining table, sofa chair, media console and lamp because the futon isn't too big and wide. It serves 2 purposes to sit or sleep and it works. It's a firm couch and will probably give in a bit over time, but firm is good for my mom as she has a bad back. It's attractive and the navy color is perfect. The Novogratz did a great job creating an inexpensive line with decent quality and functionality.Read more
