Works great as an extra sleeping area
I bought this to use in my cabin's master bedroom. It is ok for relaxing on and watching tv in the master bedroom; not the most comfortable or the most uncomfortable. I shopped around and sat on many and found this one to bed somewhere in the middle. I threw two oversized comfy pillows on it which helped make it more comfy. In addition, putting it together wasn't that difficult. According to the instructions, it takes 1.5 hrs to assemble and it took me about a hour. I just wish the support bars where one single pice instead two. Over all, I love it and does what I need it for. One more noted, if you are planing on putting this up against a wall, just keep in mind that it needs about 6-8 inches of clearance from the wall when converting it into a bed. Or if you plan on putting it in the middle of the room, the back wire is exposed and is an eyesore.If I could rate the quality, I would give it 4 stars, considering the price paid.

Large and Comfy; Looks Expensive
Just assembled this yesterday, It took about 2 or 3 hours and you will definitely need at least 2 people (I had 3 including myself). Very nice and LARGE when put together, mattress is very comfortable and you cannot feel any of the metal underneath. Was very simple to assemble. The nicest part is that it looks expensive and it'll be my secret that it came from WalMart!= )

Good deal.
We've had this futon for about a week and are really happy with it so far. My husband and I just bought it on a whim while we were out shopping and didn't read the reviews til we got home. I was really worried after reading reviews and we almost didn't take it out of the box, but after a whole night of debating what to do we decided to give it a shot. I'm really glad we did because it's been perfect for our needs.We use ours in a playroom. It does get used everyday but it isn't our main couch. We don't intend on using it as a bed in the near future and haven't tried it that way. However, my husband does think it's very comfortable to lay on and he loves that it's long enough for him to completely stretch out -he's about 5'8". We also love having arms and a high back since we'd looked at quite a few that were more compact with no arms and low backs. The mattress is not as comfy as a regular mattress or a regular couch for that matter, but as a spare couch for us to sit on while we play with the kids it's fabulous and comfortable enough. We haven't had any problems with durability. Our kids are jumping on this thing all day long and I'm currently pregnant. We can all sit on it (3 kids, mom and dad) with no problems. My husband put it together in about an hour and we both felt like it seemed really sturdy when he was finished.For the money we spent I feel like we got a great futon. There were cheaper ones out there that even had better reviews but they were all more modern looking and didn't have the features we wanted like a tall back and arms. I would definitely recommend this couch!

eh, its ok
It did what we needed, but it is NOT as plush/thick as the picture. The mattress is more of a pad than a mattress.. its only a few inches thick. My husband and I got it to use as a bed for a short time when we moved, and it was not stable enough to hold us both (300 pounds total between the 2 of us) so we put the mattress pad on the floor and it was as good as sleeping on a blanket. Since the pad is not plush or thick, its not amazing to look at but its not bad. may find better for the price.

Excellant Product
This is the best deal i have seen in awhile on futons. I searched for weeks before finding such a good deal that will allow you to pick it up at any walmart. I saved 51 dollars in shipping by picking it up myself. There are 2 boxes which fit in my back seat and one rolled up mattress which i tied to the roof. I cant beleive the comfort and how it stands out in my parlor. I am not a person that writes reviews, but this one is worth telling you how good i feel about this deal.
