Perfect for college!
I bought this at the beginning of the year for my dorm room, it was super cheap and it's my favorite thing ever! Its pretty small in size which leaves plenty of space in my room, it's very comfortable as me, my roommate, and other friends have slept on it numerous times. The arms not only fold up, but they click 5 times so you can like adjust where you want them to be, and create the perfect position for maximum comfort. It's big enough for 2 to sit comfortably but my 2 friends and I always squeeze on it together with no problem. And when we really need room we put out both arms and then it can fit like 6 people. Highly recommend!

Compact comfortable convertible
I am impressed with this item, especially given the cost. It was shipped with very neatly arranged pieces, clear instructions, and assembled quickly. It is comfortable and solid; the end pieces move up as advertised and the entire thing is pretty sturdy. The back cushion is not attached to the back bar, which hasn't been a problem and if I were to put it together again just to have against a wall I'd omit putting the back bar in entirely. Haven't slept on it yet but have napped and used various arm positions for leaning on and reading and couldn't be more pleased. I got the purple, which is a fabric kind of like a mulberry woven linen.

Good but not quite gray...
This was delivered faster than expected, although the box was slightly damaged, causing a puncture in the bottom of the futon. Not a big deal since it was on the bottom, but there should've been an extra layer of protection to handle normal dings during shipping.1st thing I noticed was that it is not really gray, more of a dark oatmeal color, like raw linen. It would've been more of a hassle to return it, and I didn't want it in black. I like the style, and it was the only thing that would fit my small space.Easy to assemble. Firm, but comfortable to lay on. I'm 5'8" and fit on it easily with the arms extended flat. The back cushion is a bit lumpy, not as nicely structured as the base. 2 people should be able to fit on it with the arms up (and they can adust to varying angles) - it's like a loveseat. For the price, it suits my needs fine, and the color will still work.

Half the hardware was missing
Box received was pretty beat up. Noticed the label indicated it had been made nearly 2 years prior, so thanks to Walmart for sending a NOS unit at full price. Hardware presumably was mounted to a thin cardboard card which had long since fallen apart and though stored in the main cushion, was all over the inside of the chair. Half of it was missing. Returning home from my son's dorm, I called the Canadian company. It was a good thing that we brought the box home because he needed all sorts of numbers from the label, 30 minutes worth, to get me a set of hardware ordered. Took 2.5 weeks to get it. We will not buy again.

Nice size
We just got this futon and it took about 30 minutes to attach the four legs and the back rail. My only disappointment is that the back pillow does not attach to the rail somehow -- it just leans against the back. It wouldn't have taken much effort for the manufacturer to create a strap or pocket so the pillow would somehow attach to the back. I imagine after time that the pillow will start to sag and not stand up straight. Other than that it seems sturdy and the bottom pillow is very soft and fairly thick. We needed a futon that would fit in a small space and this is the only one on the market that would fit.Read more
