Impressive buy!
I ordered this futon frame last week & received it with 3 days which was great. I already owned a nice futon mattress, so I was just replacing the frame itself this time. I did my research and went with the Aiden Metal Frame and am very impressed so far. The box it arrived in was nice and compact (I was concerned about FedEX leaving a massive box in my apartment hallway until I got home from work), so that was a plus. My boyfriend assembled it & it took about 3 hours from start to finish; it was a little tedious but overall not too bad). Its well made for the price and I had no issues with missing parts; it also opens and closes nicely just like my old frame. The only critique I have is that it sits a little too low to the ground, but once I put my deluxe mattress on it I was satisfied. Overall, I am highly impressed and very pleased with my purchase. This was exactly what I was looking for, and I was so pleased that I had to write a review!

Good Frame
I'm 60 years old and bought this for the guest room to turn into a bed. I assembled the entire thing myself and had little-to-no problems. The instructions were pretty good with only a little confusion as the pictures didn't always show the best angles in which to hold some bars that would be attached, but I figured it out through common sense. It's pretty sturdy and holds the heavy 8" mattress well. Our guests sleep very comfortably they say, and it's a nice to look at too. I recommend this frame even if you have funds to buy something more expensive. There's no reason.The only drawback, and this is minor, is that the mattress sits over the edge of the frame by about 12 inches. This is normal for any futon, I think. So you can't sit on the edge of the bed like on a conventional bed else it tips and you might find yourself on the floor lol. If you sit on the bed you have to sit back farther if you're tying your shoe. Other than that, I'm happy with it and don't regret anything.

Very surprised at quality.
Considering the price this is a very good investment. The reviews I read prior to purchasing were accurate. The mattress arrives in a duffle type bag and you would not think much of it until you unpack it. The only problem I had was after allowing the mattress the lie flat for 48 hours (as the instructions stated), it was difficult to put the futon into the sofa position. You need to be able to get behind the futon to pull the frame up into position. The mattress is so thick it is a bit difficult, but the quality of the mattress makes it worth it. The company that makes the frame were very nice when I called to request two pieces (the plastic stoppers that go into the frame) that were missing. However, it did not interfere with putting the frame together nor the functioning of the futon. They shipped the pieces and I was able to put them in place with no problem. Overall, an excellent buy. The only reason I did not give it an Excellent overall rating was I have only had it a couple of weeks.

Save Your Money
I purchased this for my grandchildren's play/sleepover room and couldn't be more disappointed. First, it's a pain to assemble, there are approx 20 pieces that must be assembled and unless you have two people, it takes forever. As for function, it's terrible. In the upright position, the back is in a semi-reclined position and cannot be raised higher. For sleeping it's almost useless. Once folded out for a bed, the frame is soo light weight my 4-yr-old grandson cannot get into bed without it tipping over. If you only lay on the back half of the mattress (seat back) you're fine ( this also means you have to get into bed by climbing over the arms), as soon as you roll over and put any weight on the front half it tips over and the frame crashes to the floor. If it did not mean disassembling this thing, I would return it in a heartbeat. As it is, I'm omw to the hardware store in search of legs I can put on the bottom seat frame (front half of bed) so it can be safely used until I can replace it. Final destination - recycle plant.

NOT EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND UNSTABLE FRAME
PLAN ON AT LEAST A FEW HOURS OR MORE TO ASSEMBLE THIS BY YOURSELF AND IF YOU ARE DISABLED LIKE I AM THEN IT COULD TAKE YOU UP TO TWO DAYS. IF THE SCREWS DO NOT FIT, TRY A DIFFERENT SCREW UNTIL YOU GET THEM ALL SCREWED INTO THE HOLES.THE FUTON WILL TIP OVER IF YOU SIT ON THE EDGE OF THE BED. SUGGESTION; https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-2-Drawer-Bin-Storage-Black/34317212I USED A PLASTIC DRAWER SET LIKE THE ONE IN THE LINK AND DIVIDED IT BY SEPARATING THE TOP AND BOTTOM STAND AND IT FITS PERFECTLY UNDER THE BED AND SUPPORTS IT ON BOTH SIDES BY PUTTING ONE NEAR EACH CORNER, SO IT WILL NOT TIP OVER. ANYTHING LIKE THAT OR A PLASTIC COVERED STORAGE CONTAINER AT THE PROPER HEIGHT WILL HELP TO MAKE IT STABLE AND PREVENT IT FROM TIPPING OVER WHEN YOU SIT ON THE EDGE OF THE FUTON WHEN IT'S OPENED INTO A BED.Read more
