Happy in Houston
I had the futon delivered because I just moved to a new city and I have no family here. I found out a few days before the delivery date that the freight company that Wal-mart uses to deliver furniture is only allowed to do a "curbside delivery". Now if I had the means to get a futon up to my third floor apartment, I would have had the means to pick it up from the store myself and save myself $70! I told the dispatcher at the freight company that if they were unable to bring the futon up to my apartment they would have to send it back to wal-mart because I personally could not get it up three flights of stairs.The dispatcher was so helpful and contacted Wal-mart and I guess in these rough economic times they didn't want to lose $350 so they allowed the delivery guys to bring it upstairs.The futon itself is awesome. I love it and all my friends that saw it said: "Wal-mart is coming up!" Because it is so trendy and fashionable. I've read reviews that said it's not comfortable but obviously those people have never slept on a futon before because this one, in comparison to the older ones, is by far, extremely comfy. It's like a firm mattress, and it's made out of wood so you don't get that metal bar feeling underneath you.The only assembly required is putting the little legs on it, which was simple. It even came with an allen wrench so if you don't own tools (like me) its no problem. I love the secret hiding place too! (;-))

Nice Futon For Kids
This futon seems well constructed. Already build right out of the box except for the legs which require being attached by two bolts each that were provided. I bought it particularly for my toddlers play room for them to sit/lay on while watching TV or playing. However, I would not recommend for everyday adult use. It has a rather stiff bottom but plush back cusion.

Very pleased all around
This couch is very stylish for me and quite comfortable as an office couch with occasional sleep use. It arrived almost fully assembled all I had to do was put the legs on! And the side pillows velcro on and off and also have these cool little bamboo toggles. I like the color and the ultrasuede fabric on the cover and it is well made. It arrived very well packed and double boxed and was well worth the cost of freight to me and speaking of that the company Walmart used in the Northeast for delivery to me was SO GREAT they called and arranged a convenient appointment the truck driver was on time and so polite and brought it right in in minutes and even offered to take it out of the box for me and was a pleasure. I recommend all around style, value, convenience.

too much for too little
this was generally a good futon, but in my dorm room (which wasnt that crazy of a place) the buttons that hold the cover on to the black part ripped... about three or four of them. the wood that is under the sitting part bowed a lot as well. it wasnt that comfortable to sleep on, because there is the big bar in the middle... way too much for how uncomfortable it was... (glad my roomate bought it ^_^)

Fantastic.. for a moment
I'm a 22 year old college student and was ecstatic to pick up my first 'couch', it was easy to put together and looked exactly the way I had expected it.. It lounged back which was great for movies, and was kind of comfortable to nap on.I've had the futon/couch for exactly a week, the lounge part started to not work so great and was bowing (half straight, half lounged).. I looked under it today and one of the legs had snapped off, and another was on it's way. The metal was not screwed together or welded properly at all on the legs. All in all I am pretty angry, I weigh barely 135 lbs. and my brand new couch is broken. I'm taking it back to the store tomorrow!Read more
