Great for a cheap couch in a small area.
I gotta say that I really love this futon. I live in a really small apartment in LA, and this worked really well for my place. It's a bit longer than most futons, but it's pretty comfortable and seems like it's fairly sturdy. I don't use it as a bed but my friend that sleeps over every once in a while says it's comfy and my cat is obsessed with it. I got some black and white accent pillows for it at the same time, but sadly I haven't received them yet. All I'm saying is, if you want something nice for a great price... you should buy it.

Love it!!!
I just received my futon today and put it together in about 30 minutes. It's sturdy and the material is soft. It's comfortable and not as hard as others described. I'll be using it mostly for sitting so it will work out fine. I won't be sitting there the entire day. There are additional feet in the back (hidden, of course) for you to use when turning it into a bed. Let's hope it lasts. It's super easy to put together, by the way. I'm also 5 feet 7 inches and I laid flat in it and had about 3-4 extra inches of space left. I'm very picky about futons and I must say this one is beautiful and comfortable.

DHP metro split futon
It was easy to put together. It is very pretty and is built soundly. Shipping was quick and the price was very good. It is a little hard but as it is used I hope it will soften a bit.

Broken and cheap
The couch was broken. Have to return. And it's uncomfortable even for the kids room.
