OK...but there are flaws
PROS:Color & Design: Great color. Modern. The folding futon mechanism works really well and seems like it should hold up to normal use. The pillows are also a nice add. its very long and can sit 3 people easily.Comfort - Firm but comfortablePrice - Hard to find a futon/couch that looks this good at this price.CONS:Construction: During assembly, the side arms are bolted to the base by the customer. The holes that were pre-drilled left side of the base are just too wide for the bolt and washer to tightly fasten. The tighter I screw in the bolt the more the washer bends into the oversized holes. This causes some wobble/play in the left side arm with only a little pressure. I expect after only a few months of normal use that the bolts will crack through the wood base because of the oversized hole . I plan to purchase larger washers and/or create a stronger wood brace so that this doesn't happen.Packaging: In transit, the box was damaged and there was a tear in the bottom of the couch. Tools Included to assemble the couch: The hex/allen key included is a pain to use. They should upgrade to a small screwdriver with the appropriate size hex head.Futon legs: The gold legs are really bold and ugly. I painted them black. I also added felt tips to prevent scratching the floor.Shipping: The delivery company would only deliver the couch to my building but refused to deliver the couch to my apartment even though we have an elevator. they told me it would be a $45 fee to deliver it to my apartment.I called Walmart about these issues and they did offer a discount on price. I reluctantly accepted it rather than returning the couch. It would have been too much of a headache to pack up the couch and take another day for the delivery service to come and pick it up.OVERALL: Its a good futon if you get lucky with shipping, appropriate sized holes and /or willing to do a little work to make it last. In hindsight would I have paid more somewhere else to get a higher quality couch? Yes...

Lovely couch with only 2 exceptions...
This couch is much prettier than pictured. It's more of a blue grey than the image online, but I prefer the actual color to the pictured color. The fabric is lovely. It looks like it costs 2x what we paid, and I like the firmness (I hope that means it'll retain its shape better). It wasn't any harder to put together than expected (if you're familiar with Ikea furniture assembly, you'll be prepared). I also don't mind the golden legs. I can see how it might look odd with certain flooring, but it complements our darker stained hardwood nicely, and I appreciate the fact that the legs have a built in coaster effect so they slide across our floor without damaging it.All of that being said, I do have two complaints and one warning.1) Whoever said the middle leg support is too long is 100% correct. It's quite simply too tall, and because it's metal, it's impossible to just cut it down to size. Because of that, the couch kind of slides from side to side in a mini spin if you're not careful how you sit on it.We're looking into adding some type of material to the bottom of the outer legs to balance it out, but it's frustrating that we have to "fix" something that's brand new. Clearly, this isn't a one off issue, as other reviews have mentioned it. It's a problem with the design, and the manufacturer should take heed and actually do something about it. It's such a straightforward solution - make the middle leg slightly shorter. Why not fix that, and be done with it?2) One of the arms appear to be hanging off slightly. Despite screwing it in completely, it has the appearance that it's dangling a bit (even though it feels totally stable). It's odd. It's not very noticeable, but it still bugs me.Another thing to keep in mind is that despite it's lovely appearance, it's still futon style, and the back of the couch very much looks like a futon. Be prepared for the gap, the funky gathering, etc.I know this sounds like a long list of complaints, but we really do love this couch so far (for the look and the price). We read the reviews and went into this with our eyes open about potential issues, so I just want to make sure I do the same for others.PS: Apologies for the poor photos. They honestly don't do it justice, and our current paint color is pretty drab (making it worse).

Love My New Sofa
Love the color. I thought it would be short in height like most futons, but it's not. Easy to put together. My legs were like a brownish color so I spray painted them an antique gold. It's not that comfortable, but it will suffice for now. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Thanks again, Walmart!!

Such a great sofa
We have gotten so many compliments on the two matching sofas we bought. They are very mid century modern and no one can believe the cost. We're thrilled.

Very cute, but very firm!
First off, this comes in a REALLY BIG and heavy box that you'll need 2 people to help move. Assembly took about 30-45 minutes with two people. All you have to do is attach the arms and legs. We did use power tools rather than the little hex key they send. It was missing one washer. We are using it as our main sofa. On first sit, it was FIRM. LIKE FLOOR FIRM. And I like firm, but I was going to take it apart and send it back. My husband told me to keep it for a few days, and I'm glad we did. It does break in if you bounce all over it. It's still firm, but you can actually comfortably sit on it now. Throw pillows really add to the comfort level. You'll need them.Verdict: Super cute and stylish mid-century modern piece, but if you're looking for a remotely squishy sofa, this is NOT it. Quality seems good- it's solid and doesn't creak or do anything weird.I will say that it appears more blue than gray to me, just FYI. And the legs are sparkly gold which you may not prefer... I will probably repaint mine.Read more
