Good product, but...
I wanted a futon that was comfortable and good-looking without having to pay over $400. No one had reviewed this product so I took a chance. Beware, the futon does NOT weight 71 pounds as stated. It weighs 158 pounds and is unwieldy to move move with just one person. You will need two stalwarts and a pickup truck to get it easily from the store. I managed -- with risk -- putting it on top of my Xterra, and taking it apart to get it up two flights of stairs. The cushion does not appear to have support springs, but so far is comfortable to recline on. I haven't tried to sleep on it as it is a guest bed. The 'wood' is chipboard with cheap oak-finish laminate, but it doesn't really show. The fabric does look and feel like suede leather -- I like it and the color which is a light tan. The arms are comfortably padded...that's what attracted me in the first place. Despite the drawbacks and the struggle to place the futon, I like it for the money I paid. Whether the foam inside lasts...I cannot say, but suspect with a sub 200 pound user, it should last for years.

Great couch and bed for occasional use.
It looks nice. Purchased it for den. It makes into a full bed which will be used when grandkids stay over. A very pratical piece of furniture. Would not recommend for every day use as a couch, padding is kinda sparce. You can feel the wood under the arm pieces and the seating area.

looks nice at first
This couch looks nice at first. The springs popped right through a week after it was bought! Don't waste your money on it.

The couch is very nice and the material is really nice.One problem was the panel on the left side was really smashed. We called Walmart right away and the person I talked to was excellent and very nice. She said I would receive a replacement as we didn't want to go through taking it out of the box and putting it together.I'm looking forward to receiving it.

Exptremely pleased!
I purchased this futon for my basement family room and I absolutely love it. It is vrey well padded and both sit and sleeps comfortably. It is a really nice classy looking piece of furniture.
