Works very nicely with the matching chaise lounge

I bought this together with the matching chaise lounge, to create a small sectional. This was the perfect solution to create both seating and sleep options for a small study which occasionally doubles as an overflow guest room. It has a nice modern look, but isn't so trendy that it will be out of style next year. The gray fabric is neutral and dark and has a classy look. The furniture is small in scale, but very comfortably seats adults. It's reasonably comfortable to lie on as a sleeping option when folded down flat, too. Probably not an every-night kind of bed, but for occasional use, it's good. The package arrived undamaged and was extremely easy for one person to assemble. I wouldn't select this to be an every-day sole couch, but as an affordable, good-looking and sturdy option for a smaller guest room, it works perfectly.

Just what I was looking for!

As the title states, this is what I was looking for! I was looking for a more mature replacement for my old bean bag chair (from my college days). This futon was perfect! The shipping process was quick, and I ordered the 3 year protection warranty, so I had piece of mind that if anything went wrong, I would be covered.I ordered the grey, which I think is just slightly darker than it looks online, but it is still a great color and works with the scheme of the room. It is a great size, and fits perfectly in the corner. The cushions are firm and very comfortable, and while I haven't yet tested it out with sleeping, I believe it would be comfortable. The assembly was very easy. In fact, I was able to put it together by myself! The futon easily changes from sitting to lounging to the sleeper, and for the price, I couldn't be happier to have it!

Be Aware

I bought this couch for my bedroom that I share with my grandma. I needed something to replace my standard box spring and mattress that I had, and needed something for my friends to sit on when they come over. When being used as a couch this item is very comfortable and can fit up to three of my friends at once (3 people in total). Be aware that this couch being used as a bed can definitely be uncomfortable if you do not like VERY firm beds. I have slept on this item for three nights now and have found that if you lay on it a certain way, you can feel the frame that runs down the center of the couch where it folds up. Also, if you are a larger person (like myself), then I would suggest only sleeping on this when folded down, or you may not be able to fit, since seat depth is about 23". That being said, I definitely recommend this item, and am considering getting the chaise that goes with it once I have more room for it. Shipping was EXTREMELY fast. I was considering getting the $50 2-day shipping but ended up getting the standard shipping for $6 and still got it 2 days later. It was great and FedEx was very accommodating with bringing it all the way to my door on a dolly. Assembly was ridiculously easy, just screw on the legs, and it came with all the parts needed.

This futon is not only great looking on my space, but is very comfortable. There was minimal assembly required, and I have already purchased the chaise lounger to turn the piece into a sectional. Totally recommend this futon!
