Great for back pain sufferers
It was a breeze to set up 5 legs to screw in, found in zipper compartment underneath. Package was banged up had small rip on bottom of lounger but not visable so didn't care. Not recommended for small room though. It fills a space up. The incline of the ends is awesome for someone with back problems that can't lay down. Actually got some sleep. It's not to hard or to soft in my opinion. I choose the Sage which is more like a slightly dark mint green. More of a neutral color to go with anything.

Good value
First off, futon comes in a HUGE package and I would recommend delivery as this really doesn't fit in even the biggest of an SUV (even after taking it out of the package).Second, note that the legs and pillows are in a zipper enclosed inside on the bottom side of the futon when it is delivered.Futon looks nice and yes, as other reviews state it wont go right up against the wall as the base does stick out but it is expected for a good sized futon.I haven't had it for long so I cannot attest to comfort or how it will hold up over time.

soft as a couch; long enough as a bed
Excellent product, especially for the price. The only down sides that I can see are:* The bottom and back cushions seemed to be separate; this means there is a seam down the middle of the mattress when it is in bed form. (Foam topper helps, but I still wouldn't sleep across, diagonally or down the middle; but since it is longer than most futons, this was not a problem for us.)* Although the microfiber is extremely soft and inviting, its sueded texture picks up pet hairs like there's no tomorrow.* The arm cushions are just very firm pillows; they are not fixed in place. This is a positive for those with very tall guests (who can lay across the entire length of the bed/lounger without an arm in the way), but a negative for anyone relying on those arms to stay put. Of course, they're not exactly slippery because of the suede texture... so we ended up liking this feature.

The futon is of good value for the price paid.
This futon did not have any reviews on the Walmart website. Most of the reviews for other futons commented that the size was small. This futon is actually larger than I expected. The clicking system work easliy for making into a bed and its wider size can accomodate 2 people. My daugther is 12 and was wanting this in the family room. That way when friends stay over they can sleep on the futon and watch TV. Also, my husband is 6'2" tall and he can lay without his feet hanging off the end. Overall happy with this purchase.

Great deal but still not worth the money
Looks great for show but if you're intention is to actually sleep on this, keep shopping. I agree that the back protrudes quite a bit but in my favor, it works as a way to store blankets and such. Much needed in smaller apartments in San Francisco but when pulled out, it has a blank of wood in dead center which makes this extremely uncomfortable to sleep in. It is a futon so I purchased this as a bed/couch. I use it daily and within 2-3 months, the springs wore out leaving a huge dip in the center. I don't typically leave comments on my purchases but feel so strongly about this mistake that I wanted to warn others.Read more
