Good value for money, but didn't amaze me.
The product was easy to set-up and all-in-all is really quite nice looking. Works well as a couch, but is a little on the hard side for sleeping purposes. You CAN sleep two average size people on it, but you better really like the person sleeping beside you. However, for the price, and in comparison to other futons I found elsewhere, it's not a bad purchase, but if you need a something for regular use instead of an occasional guest, it may be worth spending a bit more money on something else.

For small people with good taste/poor judgement
This couch LOOKS great and is a breeze to set up, I will say that. It's very stylish, I love the color, and it fits wonderfully in my small apartment. HOWEVER, it's also very hard, with almost no cushioning. Sitting on it is almost a shock to the system, and it's no more comfortable than your average waiting room chair or couch--which, realistically, is what it comes across as. Since the cushions aren't removable, and have no zippers to add stuffing, I'm not yet sure whether I'll be retuning it or trying some sort of DIY-fix. Sleeping may actually work out alright, for those who like a firm mattress or are willing to put down blankets first. As the previous reviewer mentioned, though, it is a bit small--my boyfriend and I will be fine sleeping together, but don't sleep with strangers on this couch unless you plan on waking up far better acquainted. When in the upright position, the seating area of the couch is also quite small. It's wide enough for three adults, but the back is quite low and the seat not very deep. It's sit-able, but not sink-in-and-relax comfy.Overall, it's a toss-up. I'm having a really tough time finding any sofa bed/futon/couch that doesn't look like it belongs in a frat house and is also under $300, so this fits the bill for now and looks really classy. That said, I'm not sure I'll be able to get over how uncomfortable it is, and may return it this week. We'll see if it grows on me by tomorrow.

Sleek look, not for comfort
I have been searching for a futon for my guest/office space and when I came across this item it had the look and feel I liked. The price was the most enticing piece as every modern looking futon in the market was close to $800. My husband and I decided after reading some of the reviews that we would take a chance. Expect to spend at least an hour trying to get the darn thing together. At first it appeared it would take less than 15 minutes as one arm piece went on swiftly, but suddenly we began to fight with the other side, as the screw holes in the wood did not line up. I also recommend getting different scratch resistant pads for the bottom. The ones that are already stuck to the bottom of the legs are flimsy & already peeled off the night we put this together. The length of the futon is slightly shorter than what I needed, but fits perfect beneath our window sill. The actual sleeping length is more like 72" versus the 80" described. That dimension must be with the added 6" for each of the arms. The bed laid out is a small double. Like other reviews don't expect to have two full size adults be comfortable. The futon is definitely firm with the back portion of the futon being slightly more firm than the seat, so when you lay it out, one side is firmer than the other. The grey color is great. In person it is more blue grey than green grey shown in the picture. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase. It will achieve what I need which is a sitting space in the office and an occasional place for guest to sleep.

Perfect addition to a room
It comfortably seats my wife, daughter and myself. The material is comfortable and it meshes in well even though my furniture isn't the same color! The setup instructions were clear and helpful but i suggest getting a helping hand. It felt sturdy before I even realized it can support 600 pounds! Over all a good experience!

Nice Comfy Couch For Cheap
This couch was very easy for two people to put together, would be a little challenge for just one person but still nothing like putting IKEA furniture together. It was very simple. It is also pretty comfy. I read a lot saying its a hard couch and I dont think it is. Granted the idea of a couch you sink into isnt very appealing to me. It looks very nice as well. Clearly with the price where it is at you dont want to have kids jumping on it or climbing on the arm rests but for the price this is an awesome buy, looks great, is rather comfy and if you have kids like me and it lasts over a year its a good investment! ***Only thing I will mention, pay extra for delivery until you have a pick up truck. I have a mini van but this thing is wide in the box because they have the futon laying flat. I would save the trouble if you dont have a pick up :)Read more
